As part of our new CSR initiative “Move 4 DARE,” Positive Thinking Company has joined forces with the Indian nonprofit organization DARE to give isolated children in Varanasi, India, a new home and provide them with access to education.
DARE focuses on the rescue and rehabilitation of children found in trains and train stations in Varanasi. The children are provided with temporary shelter, education and vocational training, family counseling and legal aid so that they can lead a better and happier life.
As the name of our initiative already reveals: It was time to move. Our co-workers from France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland got their sweat on for 3 weeks to collect donations for DARE. Whether it was cycling, jogging or hiking: Each km or hour of sport done by our co-workers has increased the fund for the NGO.
We are very happy about the total donation of 2.852€ and would like to thank everyone who participated in the challenge! 💪
