- Hello! Who are you?
Hello! My name is Afrah Guedouar, I am from Tunisia, and I am 27 years old. I joined PTC on the 2nd of May as a QA Engineer. Regarding my education path, I’ve studied Industrial Engineering in Tunisia for 5 years divided in 2 cycles. The first 2 years were in the scientific preparatory cycle, I then joined the ENICarthage for 3 years as an Industrial Engineer.
- What is your expertise?
As a QA Engineer with 3+ years experience, I can say that I managed to have a good knowledge in web application
testing and of course I still have a lot to improve and learn. I had the chance to work with different web solutions in multiple fields like Project Monitoring, Retail and now Broadcasting. My first job was a Quality Coordinator in the
Aeronautics field and from that moment, I started my journey in the software Quality Assurance field.
- What has been the biggest professional challenge you’ve faced?
A QA Engineer could face many challenges during his journey. According to my personal experience, I can name 3 major challenges:
• Good communication with the team & the stakeholders
• Don’t be afraid to always ask questions even if it could be obvious sometimes
• Have an analytic set of mind, the capacity to quickly learn new things with the aim to start making an added value.
