Data Engineer

Your mission

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Enable Data scientists by providing the necessary infrastructure to access & use data
• Be responsible of development, construction, maintenance & testing of distributed systems architecture
• Create reliable data pipelines

The technical environments available with our customers are SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, Kafka, Scala, MapR, Python, Azure & AWS amongst others

Your know-how will enable you to bring a real added value to our customers, and you will contribute to the development of our Data & Analytics domain concerned while benefiting from the sharing and pooling of our teams’ experiences.

Your talent as a Data Engineer

• You have a master’s degree, preferably in computer science, data & analytics, mathematics or a comparable field of study
• You have approx. 2 to 8 years of professional experience in the field of data engineering
• You are committed and careful, have a high level of motivation and enjoy working well in a team
• Your work is characterized by a high level of customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• High proficiency in English and French or Dutch
• Willingness to travel within Belgium (mainly Brussels, Gent or Antwerp)
